On the three-month anniversary of the 1 February coup, we urge the companies listed below to support democracy and not the Myanmar military junta. Since 1 February, the Myanmar military has killed 765 men, women and children and arrested 3,555 people.

In February, Woodside Energy agreed to put all business decisions on hold and suspend exploration activities. We urge Australian listed, private or backed companies and any relevant subsidiaries in Myanmar to suspend all exploration activities and rule out any financial or in-kind payments going the Myanmar military regime.

The following companies (or parent companies) have licenses in Myanmar:

  • Roc Oil

  • Tap Oil

  • Transcontinental Group

  • PanAust Myanmar

  • Access Asia Mining

  • Locrian Precious Metals

  • Cornerstone Resources
