PWYP Australia and Transparency International Australia submission to government consultation on climate-related financial risk disclosure

There is an urgent need for need for comparable, consistent, reliable and standardised disclosures of climate-related financial risks by the fossil fuel sector. The design and implementation of internationally-aligned requirements for disclosure in Australia must adequately cover the fossil fuel sector due to the fundamental relationship between fossil fuel extraction and fossil fuel company risk, including energy transition risks.
